Pretty cool site, I'm glad there's social networking and such for small car enthusiasts. But my how micros have grown. Don't get me wrong--I own an 2007 Yaris hatchback and think it's a great, small car, but the classic microcar groups with which I associate wouldn't even consider it a minicar. I like to indicate the vehicle growth trend with my rear license plate frame stating "My other car...is even smaller". My other car is a 1958 BMW 600, so-named for its 600cc engine; it's 2.9m (9'5") long by 1.4m (4ft) wide and weighs only 515kg (about half a ton)--and there are cars much smaller.
I'll be posting pictures of mods to the Yaris and restoration of the 600 (it's currently not running and has some body panels rusted through). Hope to see some interesting things from the rest of you, too.
