Event Description

I am proud to announce the third annual Import Alliance summer 2009 meet. It will be at the Nashville Superspeeday on the 25th and 26th of July in 2009. There is expected to be at least 2000 cars in attendance. There will be food and drinks, parts vendors, race teams...etc. There will also be a drift competition and Road race on the Nashville Superspeedway Road Course. Bring your car to be dyno tested as well.

I will be at Chris Rado's trailer for the weekend. My wife won vip tickets to hang out with Rado all weekend but im gonna walk around to check out the cars. I can make it on saturday now. I have been to the track one for a race but lets meet up outside and drive in together.

i will def. be there on sat. i went last year and it was friggin hot but i dont care! lol its a short-ish drive from memphis and ive already got the day off -- where are all the yari gonna park at??

I caint wait to go and meet some of you. I will try to get there saturday but i know i will be there sunday. With my wife working for South East Toyota and we do alot of shows on saturday but so far there's nothing on the books for that weekend so i may get up there friday night. See ya there

So to entice you "trackies" even more, here's a pic of the speedway. Last year you started in pit row on the gray, then you would then turn to the left remaining on the gray road. Follow the gray through the sharp 180 degree plus turns, then crossing on to the black track on the backside straight. From here you would turn left and enter the gray section of turns when after the last turn you would cross over to the black track after the back straight , follow it past the pole remaining on the black track then crossing down to the gray track where you enter the set of turns again.

It was killer sitting on the pit wall watching cars of all kinds open it up on that long black track section. But it was really hot !!! 95 degrees, humid, and not a cloud in the sky.

This is still a long ways off, lol! but the track event sounds cool :-) now i just need a sponsor to help with the entry fee ;-)

Mike... As it draws near, I'll help you organize the Yarin's coming into town for this event. I've got a Yarisworld.com "Southeast" banner I had made for a get together I put on last September that we can hang. I only hope it's as hot in 2009 as it was in 2008 when I attended this event !!

I will be there =) TN is a reasonable distance for me. Wish i could make it to Cali but thats way too far. Id only go for something there if i was able to vaca for a week or two there.
